There’s nothing quite like being a part of a team, especially a mission team to Haiti. I’ve been on many teams growing up, and they’ve all played special roles in my life. But being a part of the teams to serve in Haiti have impacted me in a profound way.
I remember gearing up for my first trip. Dr. John tried explaining what we would see, what we would be doing, what to expect. He did a great job preparing me, but I think every team member agrees nothing can quite describe the experience. You have to see it, smell it, and experience it and then you really understand and are touched.
More than that, it’s an opportunity to serve; to give of oneself for another.
Allow the photos below to speak for themselves. And please do let us know if you’d like more information on our upcoming trips to Haiti. We’d love for you to meet our friends in Haiti and meet new friends along the way. It’s a beautiful opportunity to not only reach out to help others in another land, but also to be impacted in an eye-opening way as you discover their hearts filled with gratefulness in the midst of poverty.
