Our Work

While violence has disrupted much of life near Port-au-Prince, Mercy’s work continues in the rural communities of Tozia and Deye Mon—allowing us to serve families safely, sustainably, and with long-term presence.

  • Stable homes change everything. We build safe, durable homes that provide families with stability, remove the burden of annual rent, and create a foundation for a better future.

  • Education opens doors. We provide Christ-centered schooling where students gain knowledge, grow in character, receive daily meals, and develop the tools they need to thrive.

  • Healthcare is hard to access in the hardest places. Our clinics offer free medical care, essential medicines, and compassionate attention so families can receive the care they need.

  • The church is the heart of every strong community.  We equip and support local pastors who teach God’s Word, disciple families, and lead their communities with love and faithfulness.

  • We stand with the vulnerable. Through food support, practical care and ongoing relationships, we come alongside widows and orphans so they are never alone.

Mercy International is honored to partner with From One Child to Another, a ministry started by the Leininger sisters that grew out of a simple step of faith. What began with one child believing God could use her to help others has become a movement that encourages kids to use their passions and gifts to serve people and share the love of Jesus—both close to home and around the world. Through this partnership, Mercy comes alongside their work to support Gospel-centered projects that meet real needs and point the next generation to Christ.

INDIA

Mercy International is honored to partner with Hope 4 His Children to provide Christ-centered care for vulnerable children and families in Southern India. Through this partnership, a Care Center was opened in 2020 and expanded during the COVID-19 pandemic to bring food relief and support to families in remote villages. Together, we are working toward establishing a children’s home where at-risk children are nurtured physically, emotionally, and spiritually in a safe and loving environment.
